Key responsibilities
1. Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the in vitro assay or screening business.
2. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
3. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of scientists and researchers with positive energy.
4. Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance.
5. Envision scientific breakthrough and industry trends, and build up new pharmacological capabilities accordingly.
6. Work closely with other functions and senior management to align strategies and form synergy.
7. Actively participating in BD and marketing activities to advance platform business.
Qualification
1. Ph.D. in biological sciences with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a CRO or pharmaceutical industry.
2. With solid scientific training background and good understanding of scientific subjects, as demonstrated by a strong research publication record. Rich experience with in vitro assay development and data analysis as a must, and relevant industrial experience, and particularly, analysis of large molecules, as a strong plus.
3. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English as a must.
4. Capable of working in a large team to support sustained business growth.
5. Management experience in an industrial setting as a strong plus.
