Key Responsibility
• Utilize CADD tools to design and optimize potential different molecular entity.
• Perform molecular dynamics simulations and free energy calculations.
• Familiar with the physical, chemical and pharmacokinetic properties of different type molecular entity.
• Analyze and interpret data from various sources, including experimental and computational studies, and prepare reports for clients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including medicinal chemists, biologists, and pharmacologists.
• Contribute to patent applications and prepare scientific reports.
• Stay informed about latest developments in CADD and related fields to contribute to the innovation of the company's drug discovery processes.
• To work as a team with colleagues across various functions (at department, division, and company levels) in client service as well as capability buildup.
• Effectively communicate and interface with worldwide business partners, develop and maintain excellent business relationship with internal and external clients.
• Provide scientific support to BDs and clients and working closely with the global team for internal or external project.
Qualifications
• Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biophysics or a related field.
• Strong background in CADD techniques including molecular docking, molecular dynamics simulations, and structure-based drug design.
• Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python or C++, is required.
• Experience with drug discovery software like Schrödinger Suite, MOE, etc.
• Capable of working with a large customer base and a dynamic supporting team to deliver strong business growth
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to non-expert clients.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects.
Preferred qualifications:
• Overseas education and working experience
• Experience in big CRO companies is a plus
• Experience with machine learning applications in drug design, especially oligonucleotide drug design
